SF State's Clark and Humboldt State's Hollingsworth Tabbed CCAA Pitcher & Player of the Week
SAN RAMON – San Francisco State junior Megan Clark and Humboldt State junior Tiffany Hollingsworth were selected the California Collegiate Athletic Association Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, for the week of Mar. 21-27.
CCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week
Clark went 3-0 and snagged a save in the Gators 8-0 week, which included series sweeps of Cal State East Bay and Cal State San Marcos.
In 25.1 innings of work, the San Miguel native held her opponents to a .180 average. She allowed 16 hits, 11 walks, six earned runs, while striking out 19 batters on the week.
She was stellar in Saturday's doubleheader against CSUSM as she tossed nine innings in game one, allowing just three runs on five hits, and then eight scoreless innings of relief in the nightcap.

CCAA Softball Player of the Week
Hollingsworth earned her second CCAA Player of the Week nod this season after powering a No. 3 nationally-ranked Lumberjacks offense that secured a four-game road sweep of Cal State Dominguez Hills.
The San Leandro product hit .818 and compiled a 1.545 slugging percentage after totaling nine hits, including two doubles and two home runs. She also tallied four runs and drove in a CCAA-best 11 runs on the weekend.
After hitting six-for-eight in the first three games, Hollingsworth showed her power to another level in the final game of the series, going three-for-three with a grand slam and a walk.
