Cal State East Bay's Adam Stone Earns CCAA Golfer of the Week
SAN RAMON – Cal State East Bay senior and defending 2016 CCAA Individual Medalist Adam Stone was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Mens' Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
Stone, a Garstang, England native, finished 15th after carding rounds of 71-72-71 (-2, 214) at the NCAA Division II Preview Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla.
Stone was the highest finisher from the West Region among the 96 golfers in the field, leading the Pioneers to an 11th place finish in the 18-team field.
