SAN RAMON – Chico State redshirt freshman Alex Fluitt and Cal State LA senior Danielle Telles were selected the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's and Women's Soccer Players of the Week, respectively, for the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Fluitt served as the Wildcats setup man in his first two collegiate starts, dishing out an assist on all three goals scored in Chico State's 2-0 win against Cal State San Bernardino on Friday and its 1-0 win over 20th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona Sunday afternoon.

Fluitt's first assist was on a long throw-in that set up Omar Nuno for a 18th-minute strike. Then, just 20 seconds into the second half, Fluitt found the foot of teammate Rajaee DeLane on a cross to the far post. Sunday, the Benicia product, teamed up with DeLane once again, double assisting on the Wildcats game-winner in the 87th minute.
