Tritons' Cameron McElfresh and Cougars' Courtney McLeish Tabbed CCAA Soccer Players of the Week
SAN RAMON – UC San Diego senior goalkeeper Cameron McElfresh and senior midfielder Courtney McLeish were tabbed the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's and Women's Soccer Players of the Week, respectively, after snagging significant victories over Cal State LA and Cal State Dominguez Hills last weekend.

McElfresh posted two more individual clean sheets as the No. 21 Tritons swept a critical home weekend against two of the Conference top squads
In Friday's 1-0 upset of the No. 21 Cal State LA on Friday night, McElfresh made three saves, including a diving save in the 73rd minute. The Palo Alto native added a career-best seven saves in a comprehensive 3-0 triumph over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday afternoon.
Overall, McElfresh totaled 10 saves in 180 minutes of playing time, improving his nation-leading goals against average to 0.28.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
McLeish led the weekend off by scoring her first goal of the season against Cal State Dominguez Hills Friday night. After a low drive by teammate Jessica Harloe, McLeish headed the ball over the Toros keeper to score the eventual game-winner at 10:41.
Against one of the CCAA's top squads -- Cal State LA -- McLeish dished out an assist on the Cougars first goal in Sunday's 2-1 overtime victory. McLeish set up Kayla Anderson with a cross to the left post at 51:50.
On the weekend, the Ladera Ranch product totaled four points.
