Eight CCAA Players Named Daktronics Division II Men's Soccer All-Americans

WALNUT CREEK - Cal State Dominguez Hills' Kyle Holland and Kevin Gallaugher headlined a group of eight players that received 2008 Daktronics NCAA Division II Men's Soccer All-American honors, it was announced on Tuesday.

Holland and Gallaugher, who helped lead the Toros to this week's Division II Championships Final Four in Tampa, Fla., were selected to the first team.

Sonoma State defender Doug Carr and forward Ross Middlemiss were named to the second and third team, respectively.

Chico State midfielder Zac Crim, Cal State L.A. defender Ruben Hansen and Sonoma State teammates Brook Johnson (goalkeeper) and Scott Preckwinkle (defender) received honorable mention.

The Daktronics All-American Team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of Director (CoSIDA).
