Participant Application [Download Participant Application Form] - PDF 2007 marks the inaugural year of Disney’s Division II West Coast Tip-Off Classic to be played at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena at the Disneyland® Resort.  Disney’s Division II West Coast Tip Off Classics are sponsored by the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association with support from the NCAA Division II and the California Collegiate Athletic Association.  The Disney Tip-Off Classics are already featured at Disney’s Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World® Resort and have not only been a premiere basketball tournaments, but they are among the most prestigious events on the entire NCAA Division II calendar.  Disney’s Division II West Coast Tip-Off Classic will continue to focus on the rich history that this tournament has established on the East Coast but will now be able to provide an opportunity for the schools on the West Coast to participate with less travel involved for each school. We will be working year-round to ensure that Disney’s Division II West Coast Tip-Off Classic is the absolute finest experience for all the participating student-athletes, coaches, spectators and the Anaheim community.  In our inaugural year we will invite a total of four teams on the women’s side and four on the men’s.  All competition for both the men’s and women’s teams will be conducted on the same weekend.  We will invite only those institutions that are the most excited about supporting this event.  Once invited ,it will be your institution’s athletic department and alumni department’s obligation to promote, over the next year, the official tournament package among your boosters, alumni, faculty, staff, student and parents.  This package will include specialty priced rates for hotel accommodations, admission to the Disneyland® Resort, admission to the pre-tournament celebration party at the Disneyland‚ Resort, admission to all the games and much more.  It will be your institutions obligation to fill a certain number of packages including your players and coaches.  We hope that you are interested and ready to join us to make the inaugural Disney’s Division II West Coast Tip-Off Classic a truly memorable experience.  Please complete and return the attached form to Alison Vidal at the CCAA via fax, email or mail.  Please contact her at (925) 472-8299 should you have any questions.
